Tanner Olson

 To Tanner's parents and family,
Just the other day, I met a young boy who told me that his idol was dead. I said "Who might that be?" He said "Tanner Olson". The young boy told me that even though Tanner's body is not alive, Tanner is still living and his dream still lives on. He said that he wishes Tanner was still on the snow so everyone could see his beautiful face shine, but he left with us the vision he had and it's so unfortunate that Tanner is not here to touch the people who he would have in the future who were in need of an angel like him. Tanner was way too young to leave us and especially the slopes. God is looking after him as he looks down on us young ambitious skiers and continues to live his dream. You raised an amazing young boy/athlete. My prayers are still with you to this day. Tanner inspires us all, may he ski in peace.

To Tanner's parents,

I am so very sorry that the world is now without Tanner. But know he was loved by many and left indelible memories with all he was around. Especially, my Mikey and Amanda and me. God took him home but his easy laugh and love will stay with us always. Sharon, I know I didn't know you well but Tanner was so special. God has him in his safe loving care now.  Look at the stars at night and the beauty around us and know he will never be far away. May God give you the strength you need for this time. Know that I will pray for you and Tanner.
